Membership Committee
The mission of the Membership Committee is to promote, increase and retain FVA membership. 
The committee has a membership drive each fall, maintains a membership data base, and surveys the membership for interests, needs, and strengths.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for preparing the annual budget, arranging for a yearly audit of the books and records, making fiscal recommendations to the board, and investigating avenues for fundraising.

Governance Committee
The Governance Committee is responsible for recruiting and orienting board members, establishing norms for processes that affect the succession of officers and committee chairs, and reviewing progress on the strategic plan.
 
Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee has the responsibility of assuring that the FVA membership has access to programs, events and services which will enhance their skills as managers of volunteers. They plan, advertise and deliver workshops; oversee the Mentor Match Program and Certificate Program; and plan for the future professional development of the membership.
 
Communications Committee
Now seeking a Newsletter Editor! The Communications Committee Manages the web-site, produces the Newsletter and oversees the Volunteer Manager of the Year Award.
