(Formerly offered as the FVA Certificate Program)

FVA is pleased to offer a two part professional development series in Volunteer Administration.  This is an enhanced version of the FVA Certificate Program - answering the requests of the Volunteer Administrator like you to continue their growth and knowledge in the field of Volunteer Administration. 
   Part One - Foundations of Volunteer Administration 
   Part Two - Maintaining and Improving the Structure of Volunteer Program
  


 
Part I ~ 
Foundations of Volunteer Administration
 
Building a successful volunteer program starts from the ground up. Join FVA in conjunction with the Boler School of Business for Part 1 of the Professional Management Series as we learn the basics of creating and growing a strong program. During this 5 week series, volunteer administrators will learn about recruitment, risk assessment, interviewing, orienting, evaluating, retention and more. Learn from instructors whose practical experience can benefit programs of every size.

 
Part II ~
Maintaining and Improving the Structure of Your Volunteer Program
Fall 2010

 FVA is pleased to offer the second half of a two part professional development series in Volunteer Administration. This is an enhanced version of the FVA Certificate Program - - answering the requests of Volunteer Administrators to continue their growth and knowledge in the field of Volunteer Administration.

The series will take place at the Dolan Center for Science and Technology at John Carroll University from 9am to Noon on five consecutive Wednesdays in the fall of 2010.

You will gain insight into the more advanced concepts of a successful and thriving volunteer program as instructors from a wide range of backgrounds share their expertise.
 
Full Course fees are: (All sessions)
$295/FVA members
$335/nonmembers

If you cannot attend all of the classes and would like to brush up your skills on one of the topics offered, you can purchase one or more of the program days at the following rates:
$65/class for FVA members
$85/class for nonmembers
We accept purchase orders, payment plans or a one-time payment payable to the Forum for Volunteer Administrators.
