2012 Programs and Workshops
Expand your volunteer management skills and network with other volunteer administrators at our 2012 FVA programming! Based on member feedback, the Professional Resources Committee has prepared a menu of exciting workshops and informal Coffee Conversations to facilitate ongoing dialogue and training in the New Year. Workshops are $25 for members and $40 for non-members. Coffee Conversations* are FREE!

Workshop: Nuts & Bolts of Volunteer Management – Developing and improving your handbooks, trainings, policies, and communications (position descriptions, volunteer program manuals, documentation, recruitment, communications, etc.) See more or to register.

Workshop: Rethinking Recruitment – Engaging clients, skill-based professionals, and donors (board development, connecting donors to hands-on service, skill-based administrative projects, cultivating civic leaders among your clientele, etc.)
