Lynne is truly an extraordinary leader within volunteer services in our community and we congratulate her on this deserving award. Some of Lynne's biggest accomplishments as Director of Volunteer Services for the Cleveland Metroparks include: - Developing Cleveland Metroparks Cares, an employee volunteer program that encourages employees to become involved in the communities they support as a Park District - Collaborating with Park Operations to develop the Volunteer Recycling Program, where volunteers sort recycling bags from 17 Reservations, saving them from landfills due to contaminated contents - Creating IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility) volunteer events to encourage volunteerism in underrepresented communities Lynne was awarded during the FVA Annual Conference, "Every Moment Makes a Difference", on Thursday, November 9.
